Mountain Institute is a meditation school that combines the power of the Kriya Yoga path and the depth of the Radhasoami path to give students a practical, systematic way of realizing their Divine Selves. In this school, techniques and meditations are scientifically applied with devotion for a true realization that is beyond mere belief – you learn to know, and know that you know.

Our Kriya Yoga lineage descends from Babaji and was brought to America by Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi). Kriya means "action" in Sanskrit and Yoga means "union" - union through action. After completing the initial classes (Beginning and Ekam), you may request to receive the Kriya initiation and attend Kriya Class. This class teaches a "...series of techniques that allows you to flow super-charged spiritual energy through your body to help you clear your karmic predicaments and change your life for the better".

Our Radhasoami lineage descends from Soamiji Maharaj and was brought to America by Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind (Radiant Road to Reality, Tested Science of Religion). The Radhasoami tradition is a series of techniques and meditations that allow us to experience the deeper levels of consciousness and become one with the God within. After completing the Kriya Class, you may request the "Lamplighting" initiation from the Guru. This initiation "...takes you beyond the field of mind (maya) and opens you to make direct contact with your Divine Self." In the subsequent classes, you are taught a progressive series of techniques and meditations that allows you to experience the levels of deeper consciousness under the grace and protection of the Guru.

These paths were combined by Audle Allison, a Sat Guru with great insight and devotion. Audle was
initiated by Dr. Bhagat Singh Thind into the Radhasoami path and by Roy Eugene Davis into the Kriya Yoga path. He developed a series of classes that take the student from the very beginning of to deep inside their spiritual journey. Jerry Densow studied with Audle for 13 years and has been devotedly continuing his teachings for over 20 years now. Jerry is currently heading the school and is excited to work with new students.
